Peak Performance Physical Therapy welcomed Holly Claussen, DPT, to the Peak Performance family in 2014. Holly is a Montana native who grew up in the Bitterroot Valley and attended the University of Montana. GO GRIZ! She studied biology and psychology in her undergraduate education and then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008. She has gone on to become certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) or McKenzie therapy. MDT is a well-researched, exercise based approach of assessment, diagnosis and treatment for clients with musculoskeletal problems, including pain in the back, neck and extremities. She has also become a certified ImPact physical therapist specializing in post concussive rehabilitation.
When outside of the clinic, Holly enjoys spending time with her daughter Millie, son Bode, and her husband Jason. They love to golf, take their two golden retrievers on long hikes, and attend to the family apple orchard. She loves physical therapy work because of the inherent rewards associated with helping people return to a state of health and wellness.
